The fields on this window are:

Local Area Network (LAN) Adapter Number

The LAN Adapter Number determines if the client is signed on as the console task or non-console task. Only one machine can sing on as the console user. There are various administrative functions that can only be performed by the console user.

1151 = Console Task User. This machine is typically the main computer.

1150 = Non-Console User. Tis number is for all secondary workstations.

Secondary/Client

The Secondary/Client is a user-defined name to identify the machine or person signed onto the system.

Host/Server

The Host/Server is the IP address of the main computer. Each machine in your business will sign onto the same IP address. When the fields on the screen are complete, click
