To run your PUBLIQ system, a main computer must run the Server, which may also be used as a workstation for everyday processing. For any machine to connect to PUBLIQ, the Server must always be running.

The main computer comes pre-loaded with two icons.

• To access both the server and client at once, double-click the PUBLIQ Auto Run icon.
• Each secondary workstation has only the PUBLIQ Windows Client icon. Double click this icon to connect to PUBLIQ once the server is running.

NOTE: On the main computer, there is no need to use the PUBLIQ Windows Client icon if using PUBLIQ AutoRun to connect. However, if the server is running and the client is not running, double click the PUBLIQ Windows Client icon to display the client window.
